Walt Disney Imagineering - Glendale, CA

May 1997 - August 2000

I enjoyed nearly three-and-a-half years as a Show Designer in WDI's Creative Department. I was a digital art specialist creating 3D models for show space and ride vehicle visualization; 3D animation of proposed ride systems and show elements; website mock-ups for online attraction tie-ins; and motion graphics for show concepts, preliminary show content, animatics, and operations visualization. The first project I contributed to was the Animation Pavilion for Disney's California Adventure park in Anaheim. I was then involved in a myriad of projects for nearly all of the Disney parks around the globe, but spent most of my time as part of the creative team behind Mission: SPACE which opened at Orlando's EPCOT Center in October of 2003. I was credited for my contribution to the concept development of Mission: SPACE when it received a 2004 Thea award for Outstanding Achievment.
