Disney Interactive - Glendale, CA

February 1996 - April 1997

My first position following my graduation from Art Center was as a 3D Artist for Disney Interactive. I was excited to work on a large-scope CD-ROM adventure game set in the Magic Kindom. I contributed 3D models, textures, lighting, and effects animations as well as some concept art (both 3D and 2D). Unfortunately, our project was more ambitious than was truly feasible, and most of the work done for the game never saw the light of day. The team was dismantled, and while a much smaller team tried valiantly to keep going with the game, it wasn't long before the plug was pulled completely. When I left Disney Interactive to join Walt Disney Imagineering, I was in the middle of building Main Street U.S.A. Many images in my gallery show that work in progress as it appeared before I left.
